As of October 19, Kazakh agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 14.992 mln ha, or 99.1% of the plan. The production volumes totaled 21.874 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 1.47 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the same time, agrarians of Kostanay oblast already completed the harvesting campaign of grains — 5.214 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 1.28 t/ha. Also, Aktobe, East Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan oblasts completed the harvesting works — 514 thsd tonnes, 802 thsd tonnes, and 163 thsd tonnes of grains, respectively.

Karaganda oblast almost reached the final stages of the harvesting campaign (1.005 mln tonnes, with the yield of 1.24 t/ha), as well as Pavlodar oblast (883 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.23 t/ha), North Kazakhstan oblast (5.006 mln tonnes, with the yield of 1.8 t/ha), and Turkistan oblast (620 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.27 t/ha), where agrarians still have to harvest grain crops throughout less than 1% of the planned areas.

In addition, the following oblasts harvested grains and pulses throughout 96-98% of the planned areas: Akmola oblast — 5.484 mln tonnes with the yield of 1.29 t/ha, Almaty oblast — 992 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.35 t/ha, Jambyl oblast — 729 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.51 t/ha, and Kyzylorda oblast — 460 thsd tonnes with the yield of 5.01 t/ha.
