As of October 25, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the general areas of 43.6 mln ha (in 2017 — 45.1 mln ha), or 97.2% of the plan. The production volumes reached 112.7 mln tonnes (134.5 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 2.58 t/ha (2.99 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 26.2 mln ha, or 98.9% of the plan. The average yield totaled 2.79 t/ha, and the production volumes reached 73.1 mln tonnes. Also, Russia harvested 17.6 mln tonnes of barley throughout 7.8 mln ha, or 98.5% of the plan. The average yield totaled 2.24 t/ha.

As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 1.8 mln ha, or 74.2% of the planted areas. The production volumes totaled 8.5 mln tonnes, while the yield — 4.74 t/ha.

Agrarians continued harvesting rice, and already produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the grain. The harvested areas reached 160.6 thsd ha (88.7%), with the yield at 6.73 t/ha.

Also, Russia produced 10.4 mln tonnes of sunflower seed. The harvested areas reached 6.5 mln ha (81.7%), and the yield — 1.6 t/ha.

In addition, rapeseed harvested areas reached 1.5 mln ha, or 93.8% of the plan. The production totaled 2.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the yield of 1.43 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested 3.4 mln tonnes of soybeans throughout 2.2 mln ha (77.8% of the plan). The average yield totaled 1.58 t/ha.

Also, Russia harvested 36.2 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 994.6 thsd ha, or 89.7% of the plan. The average yield reached 36.43 t/ha.

At the same time, Russia already planted winter crops for the harvest-2019 throughout the areas of 17.5 mln ha, or 101.6% of the forecast (in 2017 — 16.5 mln ha).
