Agrarians of Kazakhstan already completed the harvesting campaign of grains and pulses. As of October 26, agrarians harvested grains throughout the areas of 14.989 mln ha, or 99.5% of the plan. The production volumes totaled 22.491 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 1.5 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, agrarians of Akmola oblast produced 5.535 mln tonnes of grains with the yield of 1.29 t/ha; North Kazakhstan oblast — 5.312 mln tonnes with the yield of 1.9 t/ha; Kostanay oblast — 5.214 mln tonnes with the yield of 1.28 t/ha; Almaty oblast — 1.202 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.82 t/ha; Karaganda oblast — 1.005 mln tonnes with the yield of 1.24 t/ha; Pavlodar oblast — 885 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.23 t/ha; East Kazakhstan oblast — 802 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.49 t/ha; Jambyl oblast — 742 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.54 t/ha; Turkistan oblast — 624 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.27 t/ha; Aktobe oblast — 514 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.17 t/ha; Kyzylorda oblast — 489 thsd tonnes with the yield of 5.16 t/ha; and West Kazakhstan oblast — 163 thsd tonnes with the yield of 0.67 t/ha.
The produced volumes of grains and pulses will not only completely cover the domestic needs, but also form the large-scale export volumes. Such high rates again confirmed the status of the country as one of the largest global producers of grain products, said the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
