The Government of Azerbaijan forecasted the growth of grain production in 2019 by 4.8% compared with the figures expected in 2018 — to 3.453 mln tonnes, declared the press-service of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 26.
In particular, in 2019 the harvest of wheat will total 2.111 mln tonnes, up 2.2% compared with 2018. According to the announcement, in 2018 the harvest of grains and pulses in Azerbaijan will total 3.296 mln tonnes.
Also, in 2020 the forecasted harvest of grains and pulses in the country will reach 3.493 mln tonnes, in 2021 — 3.628 mln tonnes, and in 2022 — 3.656 mln tonnes.
