As of October 29, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the general areas of 43.8 mln ha (in 2017 — 45.2 mln ha), or 97.4% of the plan. The production volumes reached 113.4 mln tonnes (135.1 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 2.59 t/ha (2.99 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested wheat throughout 26.3 mln ha, or 99.1% of the plan. The average yield totaled 2.78 t/ha, and the production volumes reached 73.2 mln tonnes. Also, Russia harvested 17.6 mln tonnes of barley throughout 7.8 mln ha, or 98.6% of the plan. The average yield totaled 2.24 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 1.9 mln ha, or 77.8% of the planted areas. The production volumes totaled 9 mln tonnes, while the yield — 4.79 t/ha.
Agrarians continued harvesting rice, and already produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the grain. The harvested areas reached 163.3 thsd ha (90.2%), with the yield at 6.66 t/ha.
Also, Russia produced 10.7 mln tonnes of sunflower seed. The harvested areas reached 6.7 mln ha (84.5%), and the yield — 1.59 t/ha.
In addition, rapeseed harvested areas reached 1.5 mln ha, or 94.3% of the plan. The production totaled 2.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the yield of 1.43 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 3.5 mln tonnes of soybeans throughout 2.2 mln ha (80.5% of the plan). The average yield totaled 1.57 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested 37.1 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 1 mln ha, or 91.4% of the plan. The average yield reached 36.61 t/ha.
At the same time, Russia already planted winter crops for the harvest-2019 throughout the areas of 17.5 mln ha, or 101.9% of the forecast (in 2017 — 16.6 mln ha).
