As of March 25, Ukrainian agrarians planted peas throughout the areas of 171 thsd ha, or 49% of the plan, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of the reporting date, agrarians planted early spring grains and pulses throughout 962 thsd ha, or 42% of the planned areas. In particular, the planted areas under spring wheat reached 63 thsd ha (36% of the forecast), spring barley — 684 thsd ha (44%), spring oats — 45 thsd ha (23%).
Also, agrarians provided additional fertilizing works of winter grains throughout 6.9 mln ha (91% of the forecast). In particular, agrarians already realized such works throughout 5.9 mln ha of winter wheat (91%), 103 thsd ha of winter rye (89%), and 963 thsd ha of winter barley (96%). In addition, agrarians provided additional fertilizing of winter rapeseed throughout 1.24 mln ha (96%).
