The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan forecasted the general harvest of grain crops in the country in 2019 at the level of 19.5 mln tonnes in bunker weight, reported the press-service of the Ministry on March 19.
Therefore, the figures will reduce by 14.5% compared with the results of 2018 — 22.8 mln tonnes in bunker weight.
As a reminder, in late January 2019 the Director of the Department of plant growing commodities production and processing at the Ministry of Agriculture, Azat Sultanov forecasted that the general grain harvest in the country will exceed the last year level, and specified that the situation will depend on the weather conditions in the spring and summer period.
