Since the beginning of 2018/19 MY (July 1), and as of June 14, Ukraine already supplied 48.336 mln tonnes of grain crops on foreign markets, an increase of over 10 mln tonnes compared with the same date last year, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, the export volumes of wheat and barley became lower compared with last year — 15.415 mln tonnes (down 1.2 mln tonnes) and 3.527 mln tonnes (down 687 thsd tonnes), respectively. At the same time, the shipments of corn reached 28.649 mln tonnes, up almost 11.5 mln tonnes compared with the same period last season.
In addition, in the reporting period Ukraine exported 282.8 thsd tonnes of flour (down 129.2 thsd tonnes), including 281.5 thsd tonnes of wheat flour.
