The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation did not adjust its previous estimations of the general grain harvest in 2019, and still kept the figures at the level of 118 mln tonnes, declared the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Oksana Luth on July 2.
According to her, the harvesting campaign has just begun, therefore the officials still kept the forecast unchanged.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Agriculture formed the forecast in the beginning of April 2019, and still did not make any changes to the figures. On June 19, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Jambulat Khatuov announced the possible adjustments to the forecast not earlier than in 1.5 months.
