As of November 8, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 44.9 mln ha (in 2018 — 44 mln ha), or 96% of the forecast. The production volumes reached 124 mln tonnes of grains (in 2018 — 114.8 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 2.76 t/ha (in 2018 — 2.61 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, agrarians harvested 77.7 mln tonnes of wheat throughout 27.5 mln ha (98%), with the yield of 2.82 t/ha. Also, Russia harvested 21.5 mln tonnes of barley throughout 8.5 mln ha (96.6%), with the yield of 2.53 t/ha.

Russian agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 2.07 mln ha, or 80.1% of the forecast. The production volumes totaled 12.6 mln tonnes, with the yield of 60.7 t/ha. Also, agrarians continued harvesting rice: the production volumes reached 1.2 mln tonnes, the harvested areas — 184.4 thsd ha (95%), and the average yield totaled 6.57 t/ha.

At the same time, agrarians already harvested sunflower seed throughout 7.8 mln ha (92.1%), and produced 14.5 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield at 1.85 t/ha.

Agrarians continued harvesting rapeseed, and as of November 8 the areas reached 1.4 mln ha (90.4%). The production volumes reached 2.2 mln tonnes, with the yield of 1.57 t/ha.

In addition, Russia harvested soybeans throughout 2.6 mln ha (86.5%), and produced 4.3 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the yield of 1.65 t/ha.

Also, agrarians harvested 50.7 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 1.09 mln ha (94.8%), with the yield of 46.69 t/ha.

As of the reporting date, Russia already planted winter crops for the harvest-2020 throughout 18.06 mln ha, or 103.2% of the forecast (in 2018 — 17.6 mln ha).
