As of November 20, all categories of agricultural households in Ukraine already harvested 73 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 14.9 mln ha, or 98% of the forecast, with the average yield of 4.89 t/ha, reported the information and analytical web-portal of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex.
In particular, Ukraine harvested 33 mln tonnes of corn, 89 thsd tonnes of buckwheat, and 159 thsd tonnes of millet.
As for oilseeds, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 14.5 mln tonnes of sunflower seed and 3.7 mln tonnes of soybeans.
At the same time, the harvest of sugar beet reached 9.5 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 44.3 t/ha, and the harvested areas of 214 thsd ha (97% of the forecast).
In addition, Ukraine planted winter grains for the harvest-2020 throughout the areas of 6.96 mln ha, or 96% of the forecast, including winter wheat — 5.9 mln ha (95%), winter rye — 123 thsd ha (100%), and winter barley — 916 thsd ha (100%).
Also, Ukrainian agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 1.1 mln ha, or 101% of the plan.
