The analytical center at Rusagrotrans JSC revised its forecast of grains production in Russia up by 1.3 mln tonnes to 128.8 mln tonnes, declared the Head of the center, Igor Pavensky on August 24.
“Particularly, we revised up the forecast of wheat and barley output due to higher than expected yield of these crops in Volga region, Siberia and Ural”, - explained the analyst.
Last week, the analytical center increased the forecast of wheat production by 0.9 mln tonnes to 81.9 mln tonnes.
“The updated forecast of barley crop reached 20.7 mln tonnes, up 0.4 mln tonnes from the previous estimate and up 0.2 mln tonnes compared to the result of 2019. The forecast of corn production remained unchanged at 14 mln tonnes”, - I.Pavensky said.
