As of August 24, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 27.6 mln ha (57.5% of the plan). The production volumes reached 90.7 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 32.9 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
“In particular, agrarians harvested 67.4 mln tonnes of wheat throughout 18.8 mln ha (63.9%), with the yield of 3.58 t/ha. Also, Russia harvested 16.1 mln tonnes of barley throughout 5.5 mln ha (63.8%), with the yield of 29.5 t/ha”, - was stated in the message.
Agrarians harvested winter rapeseed throughout 409.1 thsd ha (27.4%). The production volumes reached 961.8 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.35 t/ha. Sunflower seed were harvested throughout 79.2 thsd ha (0.9%). The production volumes reached 107 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.35 t/ha.
In addition, agrarians of Krasnodar Krai started harvesting soybean. They provided field works throughout 11.6 thsd ha (0.4%). The output reached 20.6 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.78 t/ha.
Moreover, agrarians of Krasnodar Krai harvested 1.126 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 27.1 thsd ha, with the yield of 41.56 t/ha.
Farmers of Russia planted winter crops throughout 1.2 mln ha, or 6.5% of the forecast.
