As of September 1, Ukrainian farmers harvested grains and pulses throughout 9.575 mln ha and produced 34.7 mln tonnes of grain (-12.2% compared to the same date of 2019) with the average yield 3.62 t/ha, informed the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
In particular, agrarians harvested wheat throughout 6.48 mln ha. Production volumes totaled 25.1 mln tonnes (-12.4%) with the yield of 3.87 t/ha. Barley was harvested throughout 2.36 mln ha. Output reached 7.77 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.3 t/ha (99.6%).
Ukrainian farmers harvested rapeseed throughout 1.09 mln ha and the production volume reached 2.58 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.36 t/ha. Soybean was harvested throughout 43.7 thsd ha and the production volume reached 861.7 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.97 t/ha.
Farmers harvested sunflower seed throughout 353.7 thsd ha. Production volume reached 5.691 mln tonnes with the yield of 1.61 t/ha.
