Belarusian farmers have less than 5% of grain to harvest




As of August 27, Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses (excluding corn) throughout 2.05 mln ha or 96.7% of the plan (2.12 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.

The production volumes reached 6.305 mln tonnes with the average yield of 3.07 t/ha.

Particularly, farmers continue harvesting late crops. They harvested 0.4 thsd tonnes of buckwheat with the yield of 1.1 t/ha throughout 0.37 thsd ha (1.2% of the plan), and 3.96 thsd tonnes of millet with the yield of 2.28 t/ha throughout 1.74 thsd ha (27.9%).

Belarusian agrarians harvested pulses throughout 119.4 thsd ha or 93.1% of the plan. The production volumes reached 281.3 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 2.36 t/ha.

Moreover, agrarians harvested 44.7 thsd tonnes of spring rapeseed with the yield of 1.35 t/ha throughout 33.1 thsd ha (79% of the plan).
