Taking into account the available information about military activity in Ukraine, APK-Inform has prepared our first estimations of planted area under spring grains and oilseeds in 2022. We estimate the area under grains at 4.7 mln ha, oilseeds – 5.4 mln ha. The total area will be 35% lower than the year ago.
“While estimating the planted area, we took into account not only the regional crop structure, but also technological and market factors, such as availability of resources, labor forces, possible changes in production structure, market situation, demand expectation, etc.”, – the analysts said.
