As of May 20, all Kazakh oblast have already started spring planting campaign, the Ministry of Agriculture informed.
“Farmers have already planted 2.9 mln ha with spring crops or 19% of the plan, including 1.5 mln ha planted with oilseeds (47.8%) and 231.2 thsd ha with grains (87.2%)”, – they said.
The overall planted area will reach 23 mln ha in Kazakhstan in 2022, up by 105 thsd ha y/y.
