As of October 27, Russia harvested 149.7 mln tonnes of grains and pulses (up by 30.7 mln tonnes y/y) from 44.9 mln ha with the average yield at 3.34 t/ha, the Ministry of Agriculture informed.
Farmers reaped 104.6 mln tonnes of wheat from 29.1 mln ha with the yield at 3.59 t/ha, 24.3 mln tonnes of barley from 7.9 mln ha with the yield of 3.09 t/ha, 5.9 mln tonnes of corn from 1.1 mln ha with the yield of 5.58 t/ha.
They also harvested 753 thsd tonnes of rice (125.8 thsd ha; 5.99 t/ha).
Moreover, agrarians harvested 10.1 mln tonnes of sunflower seed (5.5 mln ha; 1.83 t/ha), 4.5 mln tonnes of rapeseed (2.2 mln ha; 2.09 t/ha), 4.6 mln tonnes of soybean (2.4 mln ha; 1.89 t/ha).
Farmers harvested 31 mln tonnes of sugar beet from 682.7 thsd ha with yield at 45.37 t/ha.
Winter crops were planted throughout 16.7 mln ha (17.6 mln ha last year).
