Grain crop will be “as good as the previous one” in Russia in 2020, declared the Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin on September 2.
“The harvesting campaign is approaching to the end. The forecast shows the grain production will be as high as we had in 2019”, - the Prime Minister said.
In 2019, Russia produced 121.2 mln tonnes of grains, including 74.5 mln tonnes of wheat.
The Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Dmitry Patrushev said that the grain crop would match the forecasted figure in 2020.
“We will reached the expected output of 122.5 mln tonnes of grains, including 75 mln tonnes of wheat”, - the Minister pointed out.
