The total area under winter crops of the harvest-2021 will reach 19 mln ha in Russia, declared the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Djambulat Khautov on September 9.
“We forecast the planted area under winter grain crops to reach 18.8 mln ha, under winter rapeseed - 372.5 thsd ha, winter camelina - 54.3 thsd ha”, - he said.
He added that as of September 8, farmers of Russia planted winter crops throughout 6.3 mln ha, up 14.5% compared to the same date the year ago.
