As of September 24, Ukrainian farmers harvested 48 mln tonnes of main agricultural crops throughout 15.5 mln ha. Particularly, agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout 10.3 mln ha (67% of the plan), and production volumes reached nearly 37.6 mln tonnes of grain, declared the press-service of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine referring to updated data of State Statistics Service.
Farmers harvested corn throughout 486 thsd ha (9% of the plan). Production volumes reached 2.2 mln tonnes so far.
Agrarians harvested millet throughout 102 thsd ha (68% of the plan). Production volumes reached 182 thsd tonnes. Buckwheat was harvested throughout 56 thsd ha (71%). The output totaled 72.2 thsd tonnes.
Farmers harvested sunflower seed throughout 3.6 mln ha (66% of the plan). Production volume reached 6.8 mln tonnes. Soybean crop reached 969 thsd tonnes harvested throughout 485.3 thsd ha (36%).
Sugar beet was harvested throughout 5 thsd ha (2% of the plan). Production volume reached 242 thsd tonnes.
