A share of winter crops in bad condition is declining in Russia, declared the Director of Plant Growing Department of the Agricultural Ministry, Roman Nekrasov on March 23.
“The area under crops in bad condition id decreasing. Plants start vegetating, there are sprouts already. We will get crop from these areas without replanting”, - he said.
He added that currently 80% of winter crops was in good and satisfactory conditions in Russia. The Ministry of Agriculture announced this figure at 76.5% in the middle of March.
