As of March 26, Russian agrarians planted spring crops throughout the areas of 361.6 thsd ha, or 0.7% of the forecast (in 2020 - 1.3 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians planted spring grains and pulses throughout 266.5 thsd ha, or 0.9% of the forecasted areas (in 2020 - 918.8 thsd ha).
As of March 26, the spring planting campaign was started in Southern FD (245.1 thsd ha planted, 4.5%) and North Caucasian FD (116.5 thsd ha planted, 6.9%).
In addition, agrarians applied additional fertilizers to winter grains throughout 6 mln ha, or 30.8% of the plan (in 2020 - 10.5 mln ha).
