As of May 7, Belarusian agrarians planted spring crops throughout the areas of 1.643 mln ha or 65.9% of the plan (2.494 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
Agrarians planted corn for grain throughout 231.8 thsd ha or 84.3% (275 thsd ha).
Farmers planted spring rapeseed throughout 36.7 thsd ha or 85.1% (43.2 thsd ha).
Farmers virtually completed planting campaign of sugar beet that was planted throughout 83.9 thsd ha out of 84.6 thsd ha planned.
