As of May 27, Ukraine planted spring wheat throughout the areas of 175.4 thsd ha or 99.2% of the forecast, declared the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture.
Besides, farmers planted spring barley throughout 1.339 mln ha (96.4%), oats - 187.2 thsd ha (96.5%), peas - 231.1 thsd ha (98.2%).
Moreover, Ukrainian farmers planted corn for grain throughout 5.14 mln ha (96.5%), buckwheat - 51.3 thsd ha (64.4%), millet - 84 thsd ha (71.9%).
Farmers planted sunflower seed throughout 6.123 mln ha (95.6%), soybeans - 1.219 mln ha (86.9%).
