Farmers of Kherson oblast started harvesting early grain crops, declare the local administration on agriculture on June 24.
“As of June 24, farmers harvested 3 thsd tonnes of winter barley with the average yield of 3.25 t/ha”, - they said.
Overall planted area under grain crops totaled 723.18 thsd ha in Kherson oblast this year, including 613.23 thsd ha under winter crops and 109.95 thsd ha under spring crops.
