The Agricultural Ministry of Russia supposes that the drought observed in some regions will not affect the production of grains, declared the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Oksana Lut on June 25.
“We had quite good accumulated moisture content. The moisture content are still quite good in the meter-deep layer of soil in the key grain producing regions. Thus, there are no concerns about the production volume”, - she said.
At the same time, there are some concerns in certain regions, however, the rains will come shortly.
