Belarus farmers started to harvest early grain crops – as of July 8 field works were carried out throughout 3.54 thsd ha and the harvest totaled 16.63 thsd tonnes with the yield at 0.47 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
In particular, all the grain harvested consisted of spring barley which by July 8 was completed on 28.2 thsd ha (12.55%). Field works were carried out in Brest, Gomel and Minsk oblasts.
