As of August 5, agrarians of Ukraine harvested grains and pulses throughout 7.4 mln ha or 46% of the plan. The production volumes reached 32.2 mln tonnes with the average yield of 4.35 t/ha, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In particular, agrarians harvested 23.4 mln tonnes of wheat with the yield of 4.55 t/ha throughout 5.1 mln ha (72%). Also, Ukraine harvested 8.05 mln tonnes of barley with the yield of 4.12 t/ha throughout 2 mln ha (79%), 472 thsd tonnes of peas with the yield of 2.27 t/ha throughout 208 thsd ha (86%).
Additionally, farmers harvested 2.1 mln tonnes of rapeseed with the yield of 2.67 t/ha throughout 788 thsd ha (78%).
