As of August 17, Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses (excluding corn, buckwheat and millet) throughout 1.86 mln ha or 89.4% of the plan (2.084 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
The production volumes reached 5.8 mln tonnes with the average yield of 3.12 t/ha.
Particularly, farmers harvested 2.3 mln tonnes of wheat with the yield of 3.76 t/ha throughout 615 thsd ha (89.2% of the plan), 1.1 mln tonnes of barley with the yield of 3.15 t/ha throughout 349.7 thsd ha (92.3% of the plan) 836.7 thsd tonnes of rye with the yield of 2.58 t/ha throughout 324.7 thsd ha (92.7%).
