As of August 26, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 31.3 mln ha. The production volumes reached 87 mln tonnes of grain with the average yield of 2.78 t/ha, reported the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russia.
In particular, agrarians harvested 63.6 mln tonnes of wheat throughout 20.7 mln ha, with the yield of 3.07 t/ha. Also, Russia harvested 15.4 mln tonnes of barley throughout 6.2 mln ha, with the yield of 2.47 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 1.2 mln tonnes of rapeseed throughout 554.8 thsd ha, with the yield of 2.08 t/ha, 30 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 23 thsd ha, with the yield of 1.3 t/ha and 14.2 thsd tonnes of soybean throughout 8.8 thsd ha, with the yield of 1.62 t/ha.
Besides, farmers harvested 1.3 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 30.2 thsd ha, with the yield of 42.35 t/ha.
Russian agrarians planted winter crops throughout 1.2 mln ha.
