As of September 3, farmers of Kazakhstan harvested grains and pulses throughout 7.9 mln ha or 49.4% of the forecast, informs the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
“The production volume reached 6.3 mln tonnes of grain with the average yield of 0.8 t/ha”, - the message says.
The overall planted area under agricultural crops totaled 23 mln ha in Kazakhstan in 2021, including 16.1 mln ha under grains and pulses (12.9 mln ha under wheat), 3.1 mln ha under oilseeds, 21.7 thsd ha under sugar beet and 3.2 mln ha under feed crops.
The Ministry of Agriculture forecasts grain production at 15.3 mln tonnes in Kazakhstan in 2021.
