As of September 23, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 39.3 mln ha. The production volumes reached 103.4 mln tonnes of grain, reported the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
In particular, agrarians harvested 73 mln tonnes of wheat throughout 25.7 mln ha. Also, Russia harvested 17.9 mln tonnes of barley throughout 7.5 mln ha, 2.1 mln tonnes of corn throughout 460.6 thsd ha, 160.7 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 25.2 thsd ha.
Agrarians harvested 2.1 mln tonnes of rapeseed throughout 1.1 mln ha, 4.2 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 2.6 mln ha and 1.3 mln tonnes of soybean throughout 77.2 thsd ha.
Besides, farmers harvested 9.3 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 252.6 thsd ha.
Russian agrarians planted winter crops throughout 10.1 mln ha.
