As of October 12, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 42.3 mln ha. The production volumes reached 111.8 mln tonnes of grain, reported the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
In particular, agrarians harvested 76.4 mln tonnes of wheat throughout 27.2 mln ha. Also, Russia harvested 18.5 mln tonnes of barley throughout 7.8 mln ha, 5.6 mln tonnes of corn throughout 1.1 mln ha, 507.6 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 78.7 thsd ha.
Agrarians harvested 2.7 mln tonnes of rapeseed throughout 1.5 mln ha, 9.8 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 6.1 mln ha and 2.8 mln tonnes of soybean throughout 1.7 mln ha.
Besides, farmers harvested 22.1 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 587.3 thsd ha.
Russian agrarians planted winter crops throughout 14.1 mln ha (out of 19.5 mln tonnes planned).
