As of August 12, agrarians of Ukraine harvested grains and pulses throughout 9 mln ha or 56% of the plan. The production volumes reached 39.9 mln tonnes with the average yield of 4.41 t/ha, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In particular, agrarians harvested 28.7 mln tonnes of wheat with the yield of 4.6 t/ha throughout 6.2 mln ha (88%). Also, Ukraine harvested 9.423 mln tonnes of barley with the yield of 4.16 t/ha throughout 2.3 mln ha (92%), 542 thsd tonnes of peas with the yield of 2.33 t/ha throughout 232 thsd ha (96%).
Additionally, farmers harvested 2.6 mln tonnes of rapeseed with the yield of 2.75 t/ha throughout 950 thsd ha (94%).
