The Government of Ukraine will continue standing for the need to increase the quotas for Ukrainian agricultural products supplying to the EU, despite the negative decision of the European Parliament's Committee on International Trade, declared the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine - Trade Representative of Ukraine, Nataliya Mykolska on May 5.
According to her, voting results of the Committee became an intermediate stage only, because the following plenary session of the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers meeting will provide the final decision.
Therefore, the Government of Ukraine will continue working with the European Union institutions for adoption of a legislative package on support of Ukrainian trade preferences on the European market, N.Mykolska said.
