In the first half of August, more than 560 thsd tonnes of agricultural products were exported from Ukraine via “grain corridor”, Укрінформ informed citing the Joint Coordination Committee in Istanbul.

“During August 1-15, 36 ships passed through the “grain corridor”. In total, 21 vessels that left Ukrainian ports carried 563.317 thsd tonnes of food. Other 15 ships were allowed to enter Ukrainian ports”, – the message said.

Particularly, 11 ships left Odesa, 6 – Chornomorsk and 4 – Pivdenniy.

In total, the vessels exported 451.481 thsd tonnes of corn, 50.3 thsd tonnes of sunflower meal, 41.622 thsd tonnes of wheat, 11 thsd tonnes of soybean, 6 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil and 2.914 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed.

26% of cargoes were transported to Turkey, 22% – to Iran and South Korea each, 8% – to China, 6% – to Oreland, 5% – to Italy, 4% – to Djibouti, 2% – to Romania. Destination is currently unknown for 5% of grain.
