It should be mentioned that Russian export companies restrained from declaring offer prices for sunflower oil and sunflower by-products before receiving of any certain information about volumes and qualitative parameters of the new harvest. Taking into account rather difficult weather conditions of the summer, especially the anomaly high air temperatures, and the possible imposition of export limitations on the market, many market operators became worried concerning the further sunflower production in the Russian Federation, and the corresponding sunflower oil production.
