As of August 5, Azerbaijani agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of nearly 1.03 mln ha, or 98.7% of the plan (1.04 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In particular, the general harvest of grains totaled 3.218 mln tonnes, including 2.167 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.01 mln tonnes of barley, and 36 thsd tonnes of other grains and pulses.
The average grain yield totaled 3.14 t/ha, added the officials.
