The Oil and Fat Union of Russia sent a proposal to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation to impose the temporary ban on the exports of sunflower seed from the country — from April 1, for the period of 6 months, reported the press-service of the Union, on March 25.
At the same time, the Union still did not receive the answer.
As a reminder, last week the Executive Director of Oil and Fat Union, Mikhail Maltsev said that the Association submited a request to the Ministry about possible measures to stabilize the domestic prices of sunflower seed.
