In 2021/22 MY, Russia will export about 42 mln tonnes of grain, including 33 mln tonnes of wheat, declared the President of the union Arkadiy Zlochevskiy.
Previously, they expected the export volumes at 46 mln tonnes and 35 mln tonnes correspondingly.
“Current export pace and market regulations put a question market under the forecast. There is a risk that 46 mln tonnes will not be fully exported. Therefore, our current export expectation is 42 mln tonnes of grain, including 33 mln tonnes of wheat”, – A. Zlochevskiy said.
He added that in such case the carry-over stocks of Russian grain would exceed 27 mln tonnes.
“If the export potential is performed, the stocks will decline to 24 mln tonnes that still will be very high volume”, – he supposes.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia forecasts the export of grain at 45-48 mln tonnes in 2021/22 MY.
