In December 2019, Russia will ship nearly 2.8 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets, including nearly 2.2 mln tonnes of wheat, significantly lower compared to the same month of 2018 – 4.17 and 3.52 mln tonnes correspondingly, declared the Head of the analytical center of Rusagrotrans JSC, Igor Pavensky.

I.Pavensky forecasted the shipments of grains through the deep-sea ports (including the port Kavkaz) in December at 1.57 mln tonnes against 1.87 mln tonnes in November 2019 and 2.54 mln tonnes in December 2018.

He added that Russia exported 3.2 mln tonnes of grains in November 2019, down from 4.27 mln tonnes in October. In particular, wheat export totaled 2.53 mln tonnes (3.59 mln tonnes in October), barley – 312 thsd tonnes (320 thsd tonnes), corn – 322 thsd tonnes (343 thsd tonnes).
