In 2013 the production volumes of wheat and wheat-rye flour in Russia totaled 9.1 mln tonnes, a decrease of 1.5% compared with the index of the previous year, declared the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) on January 23.
Also, in 2013 Russia showed some rise of buckwheat and oat groats production – up 15.2%, to 338 thsd tonnes, and up 2.6%, to 51.6 thsd tonnes, respectively.
Besides, in the reporting period Russia significantly decreased the production of crude sunflower oil and its fractions to 3.3 mln tonnes, down 8.6%, informed Rosstat.
