 In 2013, the exports of agricultural commodities from Ukraine decreased by 5.5% compared with 2012 - to 17.3 bln USD, declared Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on February 11.

According to him, the import rates totaled 8.6 bln USD.

Foreign trade turnover of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex totaled 26 bln USD, or 18.5% of the general foreign trade turnover of Ukraine.

The largest share of agricultural commodities was exported to Asia - 34%, the EU - 27% and the CIS countries - 21%.
