To date the Ukrainian winter crops plantings are safe, declared the Head of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Mykola Kulbida, on March 24, 2014.
M.Kulbida stated the plantings renewed the vegetation. He added that everything will depend on the weather conditions development.
According to the experts, there has been the precipitation deficit in Ukraine this winter.
M.Kulbida mentioned the soil moisture level is average. The driest regions are Nikolaev, Kherson and Zaporizhia oblasts.
