The economic affairs between Ukraine and the Crimea should not be damaged, declared Andrei Klepach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, on March 24.

According to him, the Crimea heavily depends on cooperation with Ukraine, and will continue trading with the country. The prospects and contribution of the Crimea to the Russian economy are highly dependent on what communication to be carried between the Crimea and Ukraine.

A.Klepach also noted that the general contribution of the region to the GDP of Russia is estimated at the level of 0.2%. At the same time, to date it is difficult to estimate the impact of the Crimea to the Russian economy.
