The Association Agreement on the EU Free-Trade Zone with Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova does not prevent cooperation with the Customs Union if it observes the demands of WTO, declared the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy on March 26, 2014.
H.V.Rompuy stated the European Union plans to sign the Association Agreements with Georgia and Moldova by August, 2014.
Remind, before Ukrainian refusal to sign the Agreement on the Association in November, 2013, the EU used to state the free trade is incompatible with the Customs Union.
