On April 3, Barack Obama, President of the USA, signed the draft law providing 1 bln USD in credit guarantees to Ukraine, reported Associated Press.
The document also provides sanctions against Russia for its bold annexation of the Ukrainian region of Crimea.
The signed law calls for the direct imposition of sanctions on certain people involved in development of the crisis in Ukraine.
Several members of the Congress are pushing B.Obama to take further steps, including increasing natural gas exports to the EU.
