In January-February, 2014 trade turnover between Russia and Ukraine fell to 5.277 bln USD, or down 10.5% compared to the rate of the same period of 2013 (5.893 bln USD), declared the Federal Customs Service of Russia on April 7, 2014.

In particular, in the beginning of the year the Ukrainian commodity imports to Russia decreased by 30.5% - to 1.59 bln USD. At the same time, in the reporting period exports from Russia to Ukraine increased by 2.3% - to 3.69 bln USD. In January-February the export surplus between the stated countries increased by 59.3% - to 2.1 bln USD.
