Kazakhstan: exports of agricultural products to the CU stands at 1 bln USD
During 3 years, since foundation of the Customs Union, Kazakhstan exported agricultural products to Russia and Belarus at the sum of nearly 1 bln USD, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 8.
Since entry of Kazakhstan to the Customs Union, there is observed increasing of export rates of Kazakh agricultural commodities, and reduction of the import growth of both agricultural products and its by-products.
If in 2011 the exports of Kazakh agricultural commodities increased by 7% compared with the previous year, in 2013 – the index doubled, at the same time the import growth rates fell from 44% to the level of 3%, noted the press-service of the Ministry.
